Mr Fry. Is it possible for you to re post the information on renewal of licence plates. The information in your post is blurred and I cannot make out the letters and numbers. I thank you in anticipation for this and all other information which you provide. Thankyou, Les Parkin.
Sorry.
I can read them on my computer screen … Can you check the image again … and write back about what screen you are reading them …
or just tell us your License plate # … & I can tell you your month.
Happy Trails, Steve
I’m maybe not reading the license plate info correctly. My license starts ZBJ; I don’t see that anywhere. Please tell me what I’m missing.
Thank you,
Joe
Hey Joe…
Notice ZBA through ZBZ are scheduled for June.
😉
Happy Trails … Steve
Hi Steve. I have read that foreigners, in addition to the regular process that nationals follow, also have to obtain a residency form from SSP and then go to IMN to have the form filled out/verified before going to get our new plates. Do you have any info on that process? Many thanks.
Dave Grundy
Dave’s right.
Foreigners must go to INM to get their current address certified, using an INM specific form, and then take that form to the SSP, to be allowed to re-register their Yucatan plated vehicles.
permanent residents need the form too?
Yes, that is my question as well. Have not moved since vehicle purchase and registration and have perm resident status. Need INM for to certify residence? Thank you for this great website, so much more factual than most others. Tim
We just went through the process for the first time ..after buying a new car in the Yucatan…what an ordeal and waste of photocopies…one would think that after being vetted by INM for residency, the police would not require a ‘police letter’ stamped by INM to confirm your information….isn’t everything in the system already? And why the need to bring several photocopies of identification..only to watch the INM agent refer to my residency card number and access it all online? And don’t get me started on the use of carbon paper for EVERYTHING….where are all of these photocopies stores anyway?
