Foreigners flying into Mexico are now welcomed to check their FMM / FMMd forms ON-LINE.
This applies to Residente Permanente Visa holders, Residente Temporal Visa holders, and foreigners entering Mexico on their 1-time-usage Consular visa (coming to Mexico to finish their Residente Visa process at INM).
The INM Website describes:
“Foreigners may download the FMMd, only once and within the allotted number of days. To obtain the FMMd, foreigners may scan the QR code found in the immigration review filters or access the INM Service Portal through an internet browser and enter the URL:”
www.inm.gob.mx/spublic/portal/inmex.html
or … Scan this QR code (below) … to check your official FMMd online …
Note: It can be important to check your online version of FMMd, before going to the airport, to determine if there are errors.).

after either clicking on the link above, or scanning this … you will see the message:
“ WELCOME TO THE SERVICE PORTAL ”

Select – Click On the middle option;
“Multiple Digital Migratory Forms by Air and CBX“
and then fill out the blanks in the forms that the website shows (displayed below):
Note that if your last name is hyphenated, do NOT use the hyphen. Just substitute a space in between your two last names.

Notice how these fields fit the old FMM forms and also fit the FMMs used at the border: (as shown below)

Note that if your last name is hyphenated, do NOT use the hyphen. Just substitute a space in between your two last names.

Final Notes:
When entering Mexico at airports, Mexico has different procedures for TOURISTS & VISITORS, than for foreigners with Residente Visas. Tourists using the passport scanners at airports in Mexico City and Cancun are issued a paper-tape receipt (like a grocery store receipt) that shows the QR Code at the top, and prints the instructions, plus the official data describing your entry. Tourists: SAVE THIS RECEIPT … follow it’s instructions … and keep the receipt with you for when you EXIT Mexico.

Tourists: Also be sure to check this receipt for maximum allowed stay exit date. Hopefully it is for 180 days.

People with Residente Visas MUST NOT use the passport scanners when entering Mexico, or they will be issued a “Visitante Visa” … which effectively cancels your Residente Visa … forcing you to reapply for a whole new visa at a Mexican Consulate.
Cheers …
