Party! I am in awe of the wonderful way that people can work all day, come home, get changed and maybe a snack and hit the road for a night of merriment that probably doesn’t even start until 10 PM and end ???. Then turn around and go to work the next day. And I don’t mean just the 20 somethings. All I can say is WOW! How do I know? I used to own a nightclub in San Miguel that had dancing for adults to live music. I also frequented many places that started late and ended in the madrugada; I was in my 50’s. VIVA MEXICO !

I was surprised they didn’t mention menudo as a hangover cure. Our albañiles told me this, and then laughed at me as I served it for lunch. (I had never tasted it before; it was rather dreadful, being made from tripe – cow stomach.)

    Hi Steve,

Maybe it is a problem showing the page on my iPad, but the address you provide redirects me to the Mexican CNN site, http://mexico.cnn.com/2014/05/21/travel/10-things-mexico/, and gives me an : “ERROR- La página que estás buscando no está disponible. Nos disculpamos por el inconveniente.” I would send you a picture,, but of course this is not possible through this mean. No big deal.

I take this opportunity to thank you for all the incredible information you provide on your site, and through MexConnect. This soon to be new permanent resident of Cuernavaca MOR, very, very, much appreciates. Muy atentamente.

My favorite is the horn. My favorite example is the horn in Pepa Aguilar’s Mujeres Como Tu. I get chills every time I play that on Youtube. And, I am almost tone deaf.
