INM has published it’s 2024 Fee Schedule:

    The INM’s special RNE program allowing some qualifying foreigners to apply for a Residente Temporal visa in Mexico, without returning to your home country.

    INM minimum personal fiscal requirements have also increased:

    Temporal/ Temporary Residency
  • Income starting as low as $3450 USD a month at some consulates and up to $4200 USD a month for the past 6 months. Most consulates only require 6 months of bank statements, while others want a full year back. … or​
  • Some consulates start as low as $57,000 USD and up to $66,000 USD in Savings or Investments for 12 months.

    Permanente/Permanent Residency
  • Income/Pension starting at $5700 and up to $6600 USD a month for 6 months
  • or
  • Savings or investments starting at $220,000 and up to $288,000 for 12 months
  • In most cases, these amounts are only for the main applicant.
  • If you’re a couple applying together, your spouse will need an additional $1300 USD monthly to qualify. This also varies by consulate.
